Spring
Week 2, Day 1
Sunday
Pete’s store has survived its first week.
The Business Funds balance looks pretty good and he can transfer money.
(A/N: A minimum of §17,000 is needed before Pete is allowed to build a home. §1,500 in now being applied toward that.)
After breakfast, he takes care of his garden.
Pete gets to know Karina Bachman a bit better. Besides being a Geek, he learns that she is a Loner who Loves Dogs. Being a Dog Lover is a plus!
He then takes care of a few chores inside the store.
Pete finishes just in time to be invited to the Flea Market.
So many things are for sell!
None of them seem right for the store but he thanks Eric for inviting him anyway. Mila Munch isn’t interested in trading one of her MySims for a frog. That’s a bummer! Anaya Jang entertains the small crowd.
Pete isn’t hungry so he decides to try his luck at basketball. He came close a couple of times but realizes sports isn’t in his future unless it’s just for fun. His only score is … scoring the need to take a shower. P-U!
He starts heading home but spies a poster that wasn’t there before so quickly changes course so he can grab it.
A quick shower rejuvenates him enough to stock his store.
Pete fills the food bowl and does what he can to comfort the ill animals.
He says a few words to Tomax about not scolding them. They can’t help being without a forever home or having an illness.

Pete’s week has went pretty well just a few more weeks like that to go and Pete will have a happy home!

looks like he still has got a long way to go before he can build a house. The flea festival looked like a fun outing, but you are right not really things he could sell at a petstore.

Yes, he does. I wish he could add more items to the store!
I was hoping to find something with an animal print on it or in the decor but the Flea Market didn’t have any of that this time. It was still fun to go to though. 🙂

I think your earlier statement is correct, I have no idea how he will have time for a social life (family) but it’s good he can at least get to the festivals and the library once in a while. how long till he can have an employee and will they work the same as him?

It’s difficult to have a social life/get a family with this challenge. Rules state that Pete has to build a house in order to get married. He moves another in by marrying them.
Pete could have an employee now but I choose not to. Have read a few store stories and employees don’t always do what you ask them to do. They’re supposed to be there when the store is open but a few come in whenever they get there.
Pete’s plan is to marry and have both of them work at the store.

Besides Izuma it seems there maybe someone else that may be right for Pete, and that is Karina, still have to learn more about her, but she makes a great first impression.. The flee market might not have been a commercial success, but he did get some exercise and what was so important about that poster? I can see that the strays have a true friend and defender, I hope Tomax understood.. Lots of possibilities..

I agree, Karina made a great first impression. The flea market was fun even though he didn’t find a bargain. The poster gives a nice environment boost so he hung it in the store, hoping it will help bring people in and make them want to shop.
