Week 1, Day 7
Saturday
While Pete sleeps, I managed to grab this picture of Mayor Whiskers. Poor kitty!
Nobody is buying. They’re too busy socializing today.
Inside. Outside. It doesn’t matter. Sims would rather chat than buy.
Eric seems receptive to a sales pitch so Pete gives it his best shot. From the look on his face, it doesn’t seem like it went over well.
(A/N: This is the 2nd time I’ve used this action. Both times resulted in negative relationship bars. I waited until the purchase bar was more than half before attempting it this time but the end results are the same.)
A little later …
Eric is the first customer of the day.
(A/N: Thank goodness! I was getting concerned. 6 hours in and not a single sale.)
Pete stays open for as long as he can in the hopes of selling a few more things.
He is desperate for some fun but is pleased with the results of the day.

Since tomorrow is Sunday and the store is closed, Pete decides to hold off on restocking. It’s time to play a bit of Blicblock!
He eats a salad for dinner and then checks on his garden.
While outside, the dogs follow him around and beg for attention. Pete pets each and then plays with them before heading inside to bed.
(A/N: Bacon is the dog with the bandana, Dyno is behind Bacon and Squee is the 3rd dog. Bacon is loyal … Dyno is playful … Squee is aggressive and stubborn. If Pete gets a dog it will NOT be Squee!)

It might take a while to start but once sales happen, then they continue. As long as Pete sells everything each day, I consider it a great day! 🙂

poor kitty for be sick. Shame they keep socializing instead of buying things. Yay for playing Bilbock! That last picture with all the dogs is very cute

I think it was because the price markup for the day was 100%. Pete only sold 5 items but made more than other days.
My Sims either play Blicblock or a Sims game, lol
These dogs are cute but they keep sending aggressive or territorial animals over to the store.

Enjoying the story, I really like that even though the day started out unpromising, Pete managed to get some sale, even at 100% mark up.. I am also glad he could have some fun relaxation with a game of Biblock and he is very loving to the dogs that roam around his store.. Is good one of his traits?

I’m glad Pete managed to get some sales with that big markup in price. Running a store causes a big dip in fun so am glad he has books and the computer to entertain him. The animals are really cute and if he could afford it, Pete would adopt them all! Pete’s traits: Cat Lover, Dog Lover and Self-Assured. Aspiration: Friend of the World (bonus trait: Gregarious)
