Spring
Week 3, Day 1
Sunday
Pete transfers money to his build-a-home account.
($4,500 + §1,500 = §6,000 of the §17,000 needed. Almost halfway there!)
He makes sure Simon knows where his food bowl and litter box are.
Simon finds a comfy place to sleep all on his own.
Since it’s a rainy day, Pete decides he’ll do his gardening later.
Who knew that one cat could make such a stink?
Simon jumps up on the counter while Pete is fixing food so he quickly lets him know this is unacceptable behavior. It looks like it will take a while before Simon gets the idea.
zzzzzzzzzz-PANG !!!
Lightning strikes nearby and within moments, Simon scoots under the bed. Poor Simon!
Pete repairs the broken sink and mops up the mess he made, then notices that the rain has gone away. Oh, good! Time to get a little gardening done.
He sees Simon over at the pond and thinks that fresh fish would make a nice meal. He catches three fish and a box that contains an apple before calling it quits for the day.
“No, Simon!”
Pete rushes over to let him know this is also unacceptable behavior.
He attempts to follow the user manual but it doesn’t go well on his first or second attempt. “Every mistake is a lesson learned.”
(A/N: I read that a certain level in the Veterinarian skill unlocks crafting wellness treats that can help with illnesses. Since Sims can’t take strays to the vet clinic, this is the next best thing!)
Poor Simon!
Speckles is constantly fighting with other cats so Pete plans to foster him next.
“Dyno, get out of the garden!”
Simon is angry so Pete does what he can to calm him down before calling it a day.

Simon is adorable! Not sure how he’ll handle having others animals inside like he since he’s territorial. Could be interesting to find out.

Simon is cute! I had to laugh at his misbehaviour. Poor thing for being scared of the thunder.
I never played with the veterinarian skill, interesting that Pete is trying it out.

Simon stole the show! I didn’t get to do a lot with the veterinary skill because this was a short challenge but I plan to try it out again.

Pete is getting to know the joys and struggles of fostering a pet.. Simon is so cute, I hope his next foster cat, Speckles is just as sweet.. I wonder if he plans to foster a dog as well.

Yes, Pete is. I agree, Simon is as cute as can be. I would like him to foster more animals but decided to wrap up this story as soon as possible so it wouldn’t get old for me or my readers.
