Fall: Day 1 of 14 (Sunday)

Aimee offers to clean the toilet and Damien smiles his thanks as he heads to scrub the sink. She didn’t want him to see the mess she left behind … something didn’t quite agree with her stomach.

How nice!

A/N: It seems like both gals are trying to mend fences

Damien follows her around, chatting. He really enjoys being near her!
Aimee plants the unusual berry and thinks it’s cute in it’s own way!

Ainsley calls and invites them to join her in the park.

Oh, dear. This isn’t quite what Aimee expected. No amenities or things to do.
Uncle Mike is visibly upset and Nash lets them know his mom recently passed.

A/N: Wait, what?! Aimee didn’t get any notification

Goodbye, L. Faba Drifter. You will be missed.

Damien views the vines, Nash watches the clouds and Aimee comforts Uncle Mike as best as she can. Poor Ainsley gets attacked by bees and leaves almost immediately!

Nobody is in the mood to stick around so they say their goodbyes and head home.

Aimee barely makes it in time. After freshening up, she takes a test and finds out why.

“Damien, we’re going to be a family. I’m pregnant!”

A/N: I wasn’t quick enough to get his reaction but he’s happy about this

Damien pulls her in for a hug and asks, “Are you okay? Do you need anything?”
They talk about things like hospital or home birth, cloth or disposable diapers.

“I’m pregnant, Damien, not fragile. You don’t need to hover. Women have been doing this for a long time and our bodies will let us know if we do too much or too little.”

Damien asks Aimee to dress up and meet him out back.
She arrives with a puzzled look on her face.

Damien pulls her close and whispers, “Marry me. Right here, right now.”
Aimee smiles and kisses his cheek.
“You, me and our baby serving as witness. This is absolutely perfect!”

Congratulations, Mr and Mrs Damien Sheffield!

Mothers must have a sixth sense about these kinds of things because Octavia calls as soon as they start tossing confetti. Damien and Aimee share the good news!

Their honeymoon “suite” awaits them.
