Summer: Day 4 of 14 (Wednesday)
Moments after celebrating her birthday, Aimee packs her bags and moves out.
It’s time to stretch her wings plus put a few miles between her & Ainsley.
“We fought a lot so perhaps living apart will be good for both of us.”
“Well … I certainly gave myself plenty of space. There is nothing nearby!”
Aimee brought copies of favorite family photos, her journal and a packet of seeds Uncle Mike gave her as a birthday present.
She fished and collected, hoping to earn enough to buy a few amenities.
The moon is lovely but even better is the Sim standing near her mailbox.
Her dad stopped by!
“Dad, it’s so good to see you! Are you comfortable? It’s been a hot day today.
I would offer you something to drink … if I had anything to offer.
They visit for a few minutes before Marc starts wiping his forehead and Aimee encourages him to go back home. Watching him walk away was hard. sigh
Aimee keeps herself busy by planting a few things.

Summer: Day 5 of 14 (Thursday)
She grabs a bowl of cereal before heading out on a collection run.
Aimee feels a sense of accomplishment by having her basic needs covered.
“Dad! Hi!”
Upon learning he is as concerned for her as she is for him, Aimee asks if he’d like to stay with for a while and help her learn the ropes. He smiles and accepts.
First item on his to-do list: Give fishing tips!
A/N: It was neat watching him mentor her in fishing
Time to get some shuteye because tomorrow is sure to be another busy day.

I brought a few of my photos also, they weren’t that expensive, never used the journal before you must explain how it works/does and never even thought to bring a pack of seeds, Aimee is ready and prepared for this adventure for sure! That is super awesome that Marc stopped by to check on his kiddo! Oh my GOSH that is super neat that he is mentoring her in fishing, I never even knew they could do that! She has got her foot in the dirt now Addy and will blossom to the founder her dad always new she could become! Love reading day 1 of house 3 super wonderful!

I made copies so the original photos stayed with House 02 and you’re right, they aren’t expensive.
Children and older can do a variety of actions with the journal, based on mood.
The seeds were a bday gift (child or teen) so I saved them. Her moving out caused her to not receive her YA gift even though I had a notice for it. Bummer.
Marc purchased the Mentor reward trait & this is 2nd time using it.

Congrats on starting House 03! I’m getting close to starting House 04. I have my Drifters always bring copies of family photos too and usually a few other things, seeds, maybe an element, soccer ball, stuff like that. Nothing more than 100-300 simoleans. Cool that her Dad moved in with her. I love that Sims can mentor others in just about anything they’ve reached Level 10.
I love this lot too, it’s so pretty with the fountains in the water and all the green even though it’s in the desert. I think this is part of the ‘oasis’ in Oasis Springs. 🙂 Not looking forward to my House 04 Drifter moving back to Willow Creek. It’s lovely in Spring & Summer, but Britta will move there in the middle of Winter. Oh well, Good Luck to you and Aimee! ❤

Ooo … a soccer ball might be a good idea! The funny thing is that Marc was not L10 in fishing but was able to mentor. Come to think of it, I don’t think he was L10 logic either.
You could be right with this being the ‘oasis’ part. Makes perfect sense to me!

Thanks! Wow, how is that possible? I thought Sims could only mentor other Sims if they were Level 10 in that skill. I know there’s a reward trait your Sims can buy though to mentor. Did he buy that? I think that one they might need to be Level 10 too though. Perhaps it’s a Parenthood feature? Anyway, I’m glad Marc was able to do that for his daughter. 🙂

Knowledge is power! Marc mentored Ainsley in Logic and Aimee in Fishing. I was hoping to do more but time got away from us.
