Spring
Day 43 (Sunday)
A few sparks land on Ainsley’s jacket and have to be dealt with before she tries lighting the wood in the fire pit again.
Marc joins his girls and they chat for a while about all kinds of things.
They admire the beauty around them as temperature drops and snow starts falling.
Marc encourages both girls to keep warm and then heads back inside.
Hours later …
Marc chats with Mike after he clears their breakfast dishes and Ainsley joins them. Aimee is more interested in practicing her Debate skill.
Marc and Mike sit by the fire, discussing their options. Temperatures are freezing and has made it impossible to go fishing.
It’s also too cold to go on a hike.
The girls stay inside and Ainsley begins teasing Aimee about her grades even though they are both B students.
Marc isn’t sure how much more of this he can take and decides they should head home early.
He makes sure dishes are done and bathrooms are clean before putting out the fire.
Time to say goodbye to the Forest Hideaway and head home.
Mike goes home after hugging everybody and thanking them for a fun time.
Marc fertilizes his garden using the fish he brought home.
A tired Aimee opts to exercise in the front yard.
Ainsley really has to pee but can’t resist one more dance.
Ghost Aicha and Ghost Marcus sent birthday presents.
One gave a fossil and the other, a starter packet of seeds.
(A/N: Am going to pretend those gifts were meant for both girls.)
Ghost Aicha seems pleased to see Marc.
Finances:
Marc paid for lodging, meals and replacing the sofa during their 2-day vacation.

Oh dear, what is it with sims and fire! Is Maxis trying to tell us something! I take it Aicha didn’t go on vacation with them, I’m sure she has really missed them! Glad they enjoyed their vacation! Great reading dear!

I know!! So glad hers was minor and didn’t cause Marc to run over with the fire extinguisher. Maybe if she was a part of the household, there might have been an option to take her with them … I don’t know. I haven’t had a ghost join household so have no idea what can and can’t be done. I think they did … although it’s hard to tell with teens LOL

I think so too. The girls weren’t going outside so I took it as a hint to head home. I don’t think they did, LOL

I love the pictures of them at the campfire. Shame they can’t go fishing. It looks pretty with the ice though. They had a lovely vacation, but looks like they are happy to be back home

I agree, the ice looks pretty on the water. They did a nice job with area backgrounds. Yes, I think they’re happy to be back home with all the amenities.
