Day 38 (Tuesday)
Aicha returns with a toy she took.
She haunts a few things, breaking the sink along the way.
When she haunted the broken sink, it would have been funny if that repaired it.
And then … she makes a beeline to the tea brewer.
Aicha doesn’t care for the tea she made. She cringes with every sip.
Not helping matters is it going through her ghostly body onto the floor.
She handles her annoyance better than expected. The fridge might not agree.
Aicha is gone before the girls wake.
They chat after breakfast and then head off to school.
Marc wakes and takes care of broken appliances before doing anything else.
He decides to work from home and his assignment doesn’t seem to be too bad.
sigh
Ainsley finds a “Kick Me” sign on her back and has to decide what to do.
Marc discovers that writing a grant proposal isn’t as easy as it looks.
He takes a break and fixes Tofu Chicken Saltimbocca after paying bills. It looks tasty!
The girls are home from school.
Aimee feels sad and Ainsley wants some fun.
Ainsley seeks out her dad for advice on eating dirt.
With his mind focused on grant writing, he tells her eating dirt is unhealthy.
Ainsley plays behind him which gives Aimee time to ask for advice about recess.
He encourages her to ask the other kids if she can join in.
Darn! The grant request is denied again.
Aimee and Ainsley do their homework and enjoy the meal Marc made.
Aimee spends a few minutes on her project before both girls head to bed.
Darn! The grant request is denied a third time.
While disappointing, he is glad to be paid for his efforts.
Now he can tend the garden before calling it a night.
Finances:
Marc paid bills and cooked. He held off on buying anything else in order to make sure he has enough for paying bills. Teen birthdays are coming soon, too … must have money for birthday presents!
Funny how Aicha breaks the sink and them clean the water on the floor LOL

I didn’t know this either & will be paying attention to Aicha when she drinks again.
It’s a shame that the game has other Sim kids wanting to cheat off of or bully the Sim with good grades … they didn’t bother her this way before she got the A.
No, he isn’t but at least the task was completed & he got paid.
Thanks! I had Marc focus on skills he needs for work and the challenge.
You’ll find out soon! Can’t wait for y’all to see them as teens!!

A busy nigt for Aicha means a busy day for Marc. Sorry his grant proposal was rejected. Maybe try it when he is inspired or focussed. Not sure what the right mood for it is.

Hope it works when he is inspired! After placing my comments I saw that is the right mood for it. Just take a thoughtful shower, play with clay, gaze at the clouds/stars or browse art on the computer. That will get Marc inspired for sure.
