Winter
Day 30: Monday
It’s nice when children are able to do certain things for themselves.
It would be even nicer if Marc makes less of a mess while cooking. LOL
Ainsley talks to Aimee while she makes seasonal artwork.
Later that day …
Marc gets a call from Landgraab Elementary. Aimee drew an inappropriate piece of artwork and showed it to classmates.
(A/N: Out of curiosity, I ask my husband what he would do and select that option for Marc. For those curious, the option “We encourage creativity!” was chosen. Mr Addy said that taking the drawing and punishing her would make it seem like it’s something to be ashamed of.)
Bills are delivered by a cold mail carrier.
Marc makes a choice to spend his free time reading blogs for career advice and it works in his favor.
Falling snow is so pretty!
Aicha enjoys the silence while she can.
The girls arrive home from their 1st day of school and have been assigned projects.
They do their homework while mom “supervises”.
Ainsley goes to mom for advice on a lonely recess and is encouraged to ask other kids if she can join in.
Marc takes a nap when he first arrives home from work and completes the requirement: Sleep outside for 24 hours. Yay!
He rewards himself with a good night’s sleep.
Finances:
Marc & Aicha set up a small computer nook in their bedroom, paid bills (they’ve gone up since last time but that’s to be expected when things get added to the home) and sold the twin bed (no more sleeping outside unless they go camping!).
Tell Mr. Addy that was a great response to the drawing! Nothing like sprinting through the neighborhood delivering everyone’s mail in your short sleeved shirts and shorts! Congrats on completing your outdoor sleeping, much more of that and the game would have insisted he become a mail carrier! 😀 Great read Addy!

Thanks for reading, Bree! ♥
He appreciated it & then proceeded to further explain, lol I wish they had thought to give them pants and a jacket for Winter … it would have been a nice touch. Thanks. Happy to be finished with this … I worried about his freezing but didn’t want to risk not completing the requirement in time. Ha ha … he would look cute in their uniform!
