Day 21: Saturday
TODAY is Aicha’s Birthday. She becomes an elder sim. GASP!
While Marc sleeps, Aicha takes a quick peek at the twins before eating breakfast and heading out to check on the garden.
sigh
And it begins again. Aimee throws a tantrum which wakes up Ainsley and makes her cry.
Ainsley settles down when she becomes focused on making a mess just like her sister did the day before.
Her efforts give her the Imagination skill.
Ainsley hugs Mr. Teddy before going to her next activity.
She’s determined to not be second twin in at least one regard …
Aimee wakes up and seems a bit confused by what she sees.
Ainsley wakes daddy to show him her artwork.
Marc makes sure both girls are happily occupied with breakfast so he can clean the floor before taking them to the potty.
Marc is getting a handle on this parenting thing.
“Great job, Aimee! You used the potty and didn’t have an accident.”
Aimee gets tucked in before she can get cranky and Ainsley gets a much needed bath.
It takes two to keep these two happy. Marc is thankful he has Aicha as his partner in life and love.
The garden is looking bare and the bees aren’t happy. Nothing Marc does will stop them from being enraged so he’s seriously considering selling them.
OUCH!
Marc tries baking a strawberry cake and while it isn’t burnt, it also isn’t one of his better efforts. Maybe he should have been paying closer attention to the timer instead of playing chess with his wife.
“Happy Birthday, Aicha! Make a wish and blow out your candles!” Marc says while keeping an eye on the girls.
“Still looking good, honey!”
How does Aicha celebrate? Playing with toys, of course! She doesn’t notice Ainsley eating in bed next to her.
Addy’s Note: Eating in bed was something I was never allowed to do while growing up and Mr. Addy isn’t a fan of it now.
Marc helps Aimee go potty before tucking her in for the night.
Aicha reads a story about the big dinosaur and the little frog before doing the same with Ainsley.
Aicha comes in while Marc is cleaning the tub and suggests that they get a coffee maker. “It would give us a little much needed boost of energy from time to time.”
He finishes cleaning and discovers that he won’t be sleeping outdoors tonight.
Addy’s Note: Drifter requirement: Nap or Sleep outdoors for a total of 24 hours (collectively) . Marc has done 6 of the 24.
Marc made the birthday cake and bought upgrade parts. They also started making improvements upstairs because they’ll need the room for the girls fairly soon.
