House 01: Day 60

Previous Day: Day 59

Summer
Day 60 (Wednesday)

Mike enjoys waking up early and playing with Cookie.
1

A few hours later …

The boys head off to school and Daisy leaves for work.
2

No need to track down her wayward suspect … Ms Mahajan is biding her time in a holding cell.
3

Daisy quickly processes her and bags her phone for evidence before leading her into the Interrogation Room. The sneer on the suspect’s face has Daisy leaning over and firmly letting her know that there will be no more shenanigans. It’s time to get down to business!
4

To further emphasize her point, Daisy dangles handcuffs and talks about what it’s like behind bars. The sneer quickly slides off Ms Mahajan’s face as she squirms in her seat.
5

“No! No! No! Why is this happening to me? You’ve got to believe me! I’m innocent! Please … I’m begging you to listen to my side of things.”
6

“Innocent? Then why would would your fingerprints be found all over the scene of the crime?”

GASP!
“My fingerprints? I don’t know …” her voices trails off as she begins wiping the sweat from her forehead. “Whew! It’s quite warm in here.”
7

Eventually Daisy points out yet another inconsistency and a full confession begins tumbling from her lips as she hangs her head in shame. Case Closed! Daisy makes sure that the cell door is firmly closed before walking away from this wily one.
8

Daisy is pretty pleased with closing this tricky case and heads upstairs to work out some of her frustrations.
9

Noooooo!!! The end is drawing near.
10

Daisy showers and then collects a few reports from concerned citizens. It’s always a good idea to know what’s going on in the community!
11

Daisy makes a charitable donation to World United before logging off and getting things ready for the next shift.
12

Daisy’s pay was less than before, partly because it took a long time to close her most recent case. Daisy isn’t hurting for money but being told she did an adequate job doesn’t sit well with her.
13

The hug fest welcome home does wonders for Daisy’s mood. Seeing Ghost Marcus visiting also helps bring a smile to her face.
14

Marc is fine one minute and then not fine the next. Daisy lets him know that everything is going to be okay.
15

A little while later …

Ghost Marcus is done visiting.
16

Daisy adds the Tungsten Drum upgrade to the washer in the hopes that it will break down less often while she ponders what to do for Marc’s upcoming birthday.
17

It isn’t long before the Drifters drift off to sleep. Good Night!

No change to Marc’s or Mike’s skills today.
18
19

The only expenses were the charitable donation and Cookie’s dog food. Not much happened at home beyond having to repair the washer and dryer again. Hopefully the upgrade will decrease the chance of this happening in the future!
