• Each day has tasks that must be completed but feel free to do more activities & make more gifts … but if you do, be sure to pay attention to WIN CONDITIONS because your Elf will need to gift every toy or handmade item they make during this Challenge!
  • My Elf made 9 gifts in total and gifted every single one of them before the end of Day 7. Whew! Can you tell I was having fun with this? Anyway, your Elf does NOT need to make or beat my Elf’s amount.
  • My Elf made different types of gifts since I wanted to try everything in her Workshop but again, this is totally up to you. Spread your creativity over several crafting skills or hyper-focus on just one skill for all their gifting needs.

🎭 Your Elf

• Life Stage: Young Adult or older
• Traits: MUST have Neat! The other two traits can be any combination of the following – Cheerful, Childish, Clumsy, Creative, Goofball, Maker, Overachiever, Perfectionist
• Aspiration (optional): Lord/Lady of the Knits, Master Maker, Painter Extraordinaire
• Outfits:
  • Everyday = Elf Uniform
  • Formal = Delivery Elf
  • Cold Weather = Helper Elf
  • Other outfits are up to you

🏠 Setup Rules

• Create a small starter home in any location during Winter
  • Only your Elf will live there!
  • House size: Minimum 32 tiles; Maximum 100 tiles (Can use Lot Type: Tiny Home Residential if you have the Tiny Living pack)
  • Lot traits: Whatever you want (Can change as needed!)
  • ALL items need to be inexpensive since this is a starter home! For example, kitchen has cheap stove & fridge
  • Only one radio
  • It is best that you purchase the Ever Delightful Evergreen Holiday Tree, the Pile of Presents, and The Attic Stack Decoration Box at this time (display in the house or keep in Household Inventory until needed)
• Create a small Elf Workshop (basement, room in the house or shed)
  • Remember the tile limitation when building!
  • Allowed items:
    • Cross-stitch kit
    • Easel
    • Knitting basket
    •  Woodworking bench
    • If there is another creative object that allows Sim to make giftable items, feel free to use it instead!

NOTE: The focus is to have fun so if cheat codes (of any kind) are your jam, use them as long as the rules aren’t broken

📅 DAY 1 — THE WORKSHOP OPENS

Tradition Focus: Decorate

✔ Decorate the Workshop (each holiday décor must be under §75)
✔ Craft 2 toys or handmade items
✔ Listen or Dance to Kids Radio or Winter Holiday music for 2 hours
✔ Reach Inspired or Playful emotion

Restriction: No leaving the lot

TIP: If you chose not to read the entire Challenge before getting started, not a problem, it’s your call, but … make sure you create holidays for Day 2 through Day 7 (each day has suggested traditions but feel free to use whatever you think would work best for each day!) before starting Day 2.

Tradition Focus: Baking

✔ Clean the area where your Elf will Bake/Cook

✔ Bake 2 Winterfest-themed desserts (things like cookies, pie, Winter Cake)
✔ Eat only baked goods or simple meals
✔ Enthuse or Talk about Baking/Cooking with Someone

📅 DAY 3 — ELF MISCHIEF DAY

Tradition Focus: Festive Spirit

✔ Perform 5 Festive or Playful interactions
✔ Perform 3 harmless Mischief interactions
✔ Learn the Comedy and Mischief skills
✔ End the day with the Happy or Playful emotion

❌ No Mean interactions allowed

📅 DAY 4 — DELIVERY PRACTICE

Tradition Focus: Give Gifts

✔ Leave the lot and give 2 handmade gifts to different Sims
✔ Make 1 new Friend
✔ Take a Festive selfie or photo
✔ Re-stock! Craft 2 toys or handmade items

Remember to wear the Delivery Elf outfit!

📅 DAY 5 — NORTH POLE NIGHT

Tradition Focus: Father Winter

✔ Stay awake past midnight
✔ If Father Winter appears, interact positively
✔ Craft 1 “special” gift after midnight
✔ Drink hot cocoa, tea or coffee

Optional: Dress in Elf Uniform or as Helper Elf when greeting Father Winter

Do NOT open presents from the Pile of Presents or ask Father Winter for a present since it isn’t Winterfest Day yet!

📅 DAY 6 — FINAL TOUCH

Tradition Focus: Decorate + Bake

✔ Add any final holiday décor (each must be under §75)
✔ Bake 1 Winterfest-themed dessert
✔ Craft 2 last-minute toys or handmade items
✔ Clean the entire lot

✔ Invite 2–4 guests
✔ Serve a Grand Meal (or Festive dinner if you don’t want that tradition as part of your holiday)
✔ Light candles or tree lights (if your Elf doesn’t already have a candle, feel free to purchase one but make sure it is something your Elf can light)
✔ End the day with the Happy or Playful emotion
