The current task for this Scenario is as follows:

• Get promoted to Development Captain

Another day, another unwanted visit.

Nova opts to call the Emergency Repair Service instead of handling it herself.

Rania Yassine arrives at 4:18 AM, repairs the shower and then stands around for a short while.

Before Nova can voice a complaint, she continues working. Thank goodness!

(A/N: Rania ends at 6:11 AM, just under 2 hours, and the bill is §119. MUCH quicker than if Nova did the repairs herself. Since this Scenario isn’t focusing on the Handiness skill, I might have her call for repairs from this point forward.)

After the repairs are done, Rania offers a bit of advice on taking care of the Gremlins.

(A/N: Day 6 and this lot “challenge” has happened three times. It’s getting a bit old already so I’m trying to come up with a creative way to resolve it story-wise.)

By befriending Rania, Nova is now in tune with their emotions.

(A/N: Am curious to see if this affects game play in any way.)

Time to check out the Flea Market.

She’s not interested in any of the furniture options.

What does catch Nova’s eye are the nearby posters and boxes. She ends up collecting 3 posters and 2 snow globes. Score!

Another thing of interest are the number of Sims sleeping on benches. Hope they don’t get a sunburn.

Lewis Sancho also stands out. UGH 🙄 What is he doing? Spying on the vendors, hoping to get some insider info on what they’ll be selling? Nova wouldn’t put it past that creep.

Nova decides to skip the lines and go to the food stall that doesn’t have anybody at it. While en route, she notices Arun Bheeda getting a Spinach-Wrapped Veggie Burrito which is NOT on the menu.

He must know the secret menu or have a good relationship with the vendor. Nova wishes her Ensaymada came with a plate.

She can’t quite decide if she likes this dish or not. The look on her face seems to indicate that an interesting combo of flavors is dancing along her tongue.

RING RING

While Nova wants to tell Kyleigh to lay off the tanning beds, she instead says that building friendships is a good idea.

Greta is pleased with the sale she scores from Nova.

The collections and sculptures add a bit of character to her otherwise boring apartment.

Nova finally finishes the side job (making an app so the client’s phone icons wear tuxedos) and the client seems pleased with her work.

This is a good place for stopping this portion.
