The relief is short lived. Geeta then waltzes in like her son did earlier and complains after dumping the trash onto the floor. What is it with these people?!

A short while later …

Raj is back at her door wanting to be entertained. BIG sigh

Nova decides to ignore the big baby and heads over to the Talent Showcase a little early.

She sings a duet with Kyle. The entertainer is busy swimming … guess that could be considered a form of “entertainment” 😉 and the bar is missing something. A BARTENDER!

(A/N: Am beginning to wonder if there’s a problem with bartenders in the game now. The karaoke bar and now this lounge have the “hire” action greyed out and indicates there is one on the lot but … nobody shows up. I wonder if there is a way to reset the object. Will have to look into it.)

Nova feels like she nailed it with karaoke. The game says otherwise, 😆

The Celebrity Octavia Moon grabs the microphone so Nova & Kyle go sit somewhere and strike up a conversation.

They’ve become friends and are romantically interested in each other. Getting closer from happy memories is a plus as well.

Gunther joins them while everyone else gathers around Octavia who won’t stop hogging the mic.

(A/N: These Celebrity Sims are so annoying. They have award presentations and signings but apparently that isn’t enough. They also have to claim the limelight at Talent Showcases. It’s no wonder average Joe Sims won’t perform in public.

How will we find the next star in the making if this keeps up?

How will Sims get a drink at any bar or lounge if the bartender on duty never shows up?)

Nova invites her friends over for a meal and uninterrupted conversation.

Poor Gunther. Every joke and story seems to contain a reference to boxers. How awkward. Makes Nova privately wonder if he’s into men (which is okay).

She smiles, thanks him for the entertainment and then gently but firmly encourages him to go home.

Then she and Kyle share a few private moments, taking things slow. Nova is focused on her career after all.

This earns her a Good Reputation!

And also a Good Friend!

Kyle heads home and Nova heads of to bed.
