Nova really needs to go but has to repair the toilet first. sigh

Lavina calls to let Nova know she didn’t go on a date with Salim. Um, thanks.

Fixing the toilet, sink and shower has Nova needing a shower herself. sniff sniff P.U.

She wonders if her neighbor, Raj, ever goes to work or anywhere else for that matter since he’s always coming over to visit.

Nova scoots past saying a quick sorry and heads out. She decides to check out Thriftea, a place that heavily advertises their business. Hope the hype is worth it.

The interior is as charming as the exterior.

Either Eloise Hiddlestix has excellent taste or she knows a good interior decorator.

Nova tries Lychee Milk Bubble Tea for the first time. Yum! She then browses their fashion racks and decides to try her hand at creating a look. Not bad.

She’s not sure what to do: wear it, sell it, add it to favorites (maybe this means adding to her outfit choices when planning or changing what she wears) or gift it so … Nova decides to hang onto the outfit for now.

Nova heads back home to find Raj still standing in front of her door. Seriously?!

She opts to ignore him since her laptop needs repairing. That doesn’t seem to stop him from waltzing in like he owns the place and dumping her garbage onto floor.

UGH

Nova promptly sends him home. You know where the door is, bub. Use it.

As soon as she finishes repairing her TV, Nova gets a fear of death. Must have been a close call.

For some unknown reason she wants to discuss her fear with somebody.

Might as well talk to her neighbor, Geeta.

Geeta shows her a few relaxing breathing techniques and then gives two thumbs up when Nova manages to get it right. To thank Geeta for her help, Nova flatters her. You’re really good at this!

Nova feels relief that her fear has been conquered.

This is a good spot for stopping this portion.
