Lewis calls out to Nova.

Lewis: Are you awake? … Nova: I am NOW. … Lewis: I have an idea I want to run by you …

Nova isn’t keen on giving up on her dream of getting experience in the field before striking it out on her own so she tells him no.

Kyle keeps an eye on Lewis while reading because he simply doesn’t trust this impulsive guy.

A shirt while later …

Lewis thanks Nova for letting him crash at her place.

grumble grumble sigh Nova: You’re welcome, Lewis. Now please GO TO SLEEP so I can.

It’s a nice space print. A bit large for her small apartment but the colors really brighten up the space.

As Kyle is walking out the door he reminds Lewis of how easy it is to send him off to outer space where nobody can find his body if he continues to entangle Nova in his harebrained schemes. Lewis gulps, nods that he understands and then crashes on the couch.

(A/N: For some reason as soon as I saw the thought bubble I almost wrote … keep your rocket in your pocket but knew Nova would beat Lewis to a pulp should he try anything remotely romantic with her. In that case there would be no need to worry about Kyle punching his lights out.)

A few hours later …

Nova tries talking to Lewis about hobbies and interests, namely gaming and the possibility of making games down the road, but he seems bored.

Then she attempts to discuss the mobile app she is working on (an icon changer) but he’s clearly NOT interested in that either.

Nova makes Lewis cry when she calls him out for being a fake. A poser. You expect ME to do all of the coding and whatnot while you skate by, grabbing what you consider your fair share of the profits. US being indie developers together?! What a joke! More like ME being one. You not so much.

She shows no mercy and eats while he continues to sob.

Lewis: You’re right. I’m the tuna head, not you. Never you. I was just so jealous of your ability and passion for programming in UNI that I tried to fake it until I make it. Obviously, that’s not going well. I’m sorry. I really am.

Somehow they end up on better terms (friends) and since he’s rather Childish, Nova is fine with Family-Motivated Sims.

Lewis tries to make amends.

He would make a pretty good house husband (NOT for Nova) and maybe if her apartment had a 2nd bedroom, she might have considered asking him to move in. Free housekeeping! He would have to find some way to earn income and pay his share of the rent but … no 2nd bedroom, no need to think along those lines any further.

This is a good spot to stop this portion.
