Before we begin Story Time, I’d like to mention this story is a result of my testing the holiday Challenge I created for my best friend, BreeMiles. If you want to read the rules before the story … please take a look at The 7-Day Winterfest Elf Solo Challenge and then get yourself comfy with snacks & a drink because the story contains a whopping 62 pictures!!

DAY 1 — THE WORKSHOP OPENS

Sparkle loves her house at 2025 Simsmas Street!

It’s small but has everything she needs. 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, a Workshop, and a combined Living/Dining/Kitchen area.

She quickly decorates her Workshop and begins making handmade items.

NOTE: Today’s Creative Crafting skill is Knitting

~*~ A short while later ~*~

Her first visitor knocks on the door and Sparkle introduces herself to Travis.

After an hour or so, his roommates arrive and the Welcome Wagon event starts.

Sparkle introduces herself to Liberty and Summer. Summer made a gourmet fruitcake for the occasion.

NOTE: Sparkle doesn’t like fruitcake! I think I only found one, maybe two Sims in all of the ones I’ve played that actually like it. Me? Team Don’t Like.

NOTE 2: I was too busy playing & didn’t snap many pictures so on to Day 2 …

DAY 2 — SWEETS & SUPPLIES

NOTE: You thought Day 1 was light on pictures. Well … Day 2 only has one. All I can say is that I was having too much fun doing what I was doing ~ testing, building and having fun (so MUCH Fun!!) ~ that I wasn’t focused on the story aspect at first.

DAY 3 — ELF MISCHIEF DAY

Sparkle enjoys seeing her SnowPal Patrol grow. She made the little guy with the spiky mohawk on Sweets & Supplies Day and he now has a friend.

Time to get out there and be the best friendly, mischievous Elf to ever Elf.

Sparkle heads over to the local library and sure enough there are plenty of Sims to meet & greet while being both friendly and full of mischief.

Umber claps after she pulls a “What’s that Spot?” prank … which he then follows up with a “Scare” of his own. “And this is what I call a prank, Sparkle.” Umber says with a laugh.

Cassandra, the librarian, enjoys the prank as well as their festive chat and gives Sparkle a big hug for brightening her workday.

NOTE: The Sims dressed all in black is named Crispin Black. He and Sparkle have Amazing Compatibility but his traits aren’t ones I want to deal with so no future romance between these two. Am sure he’ll become a good friend though.

Eventually, a tired and hungry Elf heads home. Sparkle is pretty pleased with how the day is going and the game agrees.

DAY 4 — DELIVERY PRACTICE (has 15 images!)

DAY 5 — NORTH POLE NIGHT (has 8 images)

NOTE: Today’s Creative Crafting skill is Woodworking (she made Gnomes)

DAY 6 — FINAL TOUCH

Sorry. Once again I was busy playing & decorating and totally dropped the ball in regards to taking screenshots.

DAY 7 — WINTERFEST DAY (has 25 images!)

BONUS

We can’t end the story here without answering a few questions. What did Sparkle get in her gift pile? How many SnowPals are there in the Patrol? And where can I find Sparkle and/or her house?

As soon as Winterfest Day officially ended, I “encouraged” Sparkle to wake up and check out her gift. Thank goodness she wakes up in a good mood.

“All right, all right. Let me get my slippers on and I’ll go & take a look.”

She opens the gift to receive a packet of Farmer Veggies and Herbs. Upon opening that …

… Sparkle finds an abundance of sage and spinach.

“Either Mister-Chunky-Himself is a Vegetarian or he wants me to fix my diet before next year or is it a hint of something else?”

As for the SnowPals Patrol, I had Sparkle build one for each day that it snowed (Monday through Saturday). So there are a total of SIX of them.
