Pete needs to invest in a good pair of ear plugs! Vlad stood outside his store and sang from 2:30 am to 6:30 am.

He almost lost Bella Goth’s business but managed to help her in time.

(A/N: The cart symbol turned red as he was collecting money from the sim on his right.)

Pete purchases the Faster Restocking (small) perk.

“Excuse me, could you please move? I need to clean this up.”

Between dogs attacking Sims and cats fighting one another, Pete worries that he’ll be liable for any damages these stray animals cause.

A few minutes later …

Pete quickly puts the mop away so he doesn’t lose Dirk Dreamer’s business.

He had a few sales at the tail end & made sure he handled those before closing up shop.

Price Markup: 15%

Pete steps outside to fill the pet bowls and spends a few minutes comforting Maggie who is obviously sick. He wishes he had money and could take her to the vet clinic.

He heads back inside to make salad and can’t help but hear the familiar sounds of cats fighting outside.

(A/N: Poor Maggie! Speckles got bit by karma for attacking her because two cats got into a fight with him after this happened, one right after the other.)

Pete’s really beginning to wonder if he should encourage strays to come around. He also wonders if he’ll ever have time for a social life. So many things to ponder while he eats and gets ready for bed.

  1. Just wanted to let you know I’ve been following/reading the story of your try at this challenge. I had so much fun when I tried this myself a few years ago. I think poor Pete should maybe think twice about his decision to make the store lot pet friendly. I would go nuts trying to run a store with all that commotion and constant cleaning up going on. o.O Just my opinion…

      Thanks for reading! You read my mind, lol
      I locked doors so animals no longer enter the store. We’ll see if that is enough or if I need to change lot traits. I’m hoping I won’t because I enjoy seeing them.

    1. I had to turn my volume off during this time. He stayed there and sang the whole time!

      At least he wasn’t blocked from mopping by Sims who stood in the pee puddles. Silly Sims!

      Stray cats fight A LOT … if they aren’t fighting, they meow. The dogs are so much quieter in comparison!

    Poor Pete gets pushed around a lot, first having to stand having Vlad sing all night, then when he trying to clean the floor, which is in the customer’s best interest they don’t move, so he can mop.. As to a social life, it seems that when a Sim is very successful, there is very little to no time for personal fulfillment.. Hopefully, life gets better for Pete..
