The Scenario requirements are as follows:

• Invite Sims to Hangout at a Venue
• Optional: Make a Good Friend
• Optional: Pysch Self Up
• Go Home

A few hours later …

Farrah decides the hangout should happen at a karaoke bar.

The karaoke bar is holding a karaoke contest! This should be fun.

Farrah invites Bernice, her landlord Chihiro, Lou, Akira and Tetsu. So in a way this was a “party” with all three guys.

(A/N: Besides going on a date with each guy, I briefly toyed with option b – have a party where all 3 are invited to see if there are any sparks. With Akira being a Jealous Sim, I nixed that idea because with my luck there would be too much drama and not a clearly defined “this is THE guy for Farrah”.)

Since a hangout was Bernice’s idea, Farrah spends a few moments with her while the others are busy doing their own thing.

Farrah learns one more thing about Bernice, she’s a bit of a Geek.

Where is Akira? In the bathroom since he seems to prefer talking to the toilet/himself over chilling with everybody else.

As for Tetsu, he spent a lot of time chatting up or being chatted up by the guy in the green shirt.

(A/N: I’m not regretting Farrah choosing Lou after observing these two in action, 😆)

Farrah then shifts her focus to her landlord and regrets doing so because she immediately learns that Chihiro is not only Lazy but also Evil. Farrah won’t be late making any rent payments!

GASP!! You won’t believe what happens next …

Lou walks over and inserts himself into the conversation so he could …

ask Farrah about them living together.

(A/N: I shrieked/made some sort of noise because my daughter burst into the room to see if I was okay.)

After getting a YES response, Lou steps away so Farrah can continue mingling and meeting new people. It’s nice that Lou is cool with her being sociable and doesn’t feel the need to crowd her.

Kaori Nakagawa is unemployed but Loyal (so she’d be a great employee) and while a Glutton, is rather Neat (no eating like a Neaderthal, ha ha).

The Fashion Police should come and stop Kenneth Harris from ever going out in public looking like this again.

Lou might be a Kleptomaniac but he does a bit of swiping without any repercussions since taking a poster isn’t considered to be stealing.

And the winner of Karaoke Night is …

(A/N: I wanted Farrah to go and sing but there was never a break from other Sims showing up and immediately taking the microphone.)

Both Farrah and Lou had this moodlet after Maki finished singing.

The mixologist NEVER showed up.

(A/N: I briefly toyed with the idea of Lou tending bar but nixed the idea because it is a night of fun for them.)

Since Lou has several levels of the Singing Skill, I had him sing a song (For Your Love) and dedicate it to Farrah.

Bernice calls as soon as they arrive home.

Party? What party? Farrah realizes she is going to host one of those then.

Bernice gives her a few tips for either a house party or a dinner party.

Ummm, Bernice … perhaps you should come over and see for yourself how SMALL our apartment is. Not much room for dancing or mixing drinks and as for a dinner party? We have a couch and a table with 2 chairs.

The requirements for this Scenario have changed to the following:

• Optional: Buy a Stereo (already owns one)
• Optional: Buy a Bar
• Optional: Cook a Group Meal
• Start a House or Dinner Party

(A/N: I’m going to have to think about what to do in regards to hosting this shindig.)

Lou manages to break the sink after washing his hands but is kind enough to fix it instead of complaining to the landlord.

(A/N: He has a couple of levels in the Handiness Skill so I thought about maybe making him a Handyman – nope! He’s a Night Wolf which means he needs to sleep during the day and the job only offers daytime hours.)

Farrah heads off to bed and Lou takes the time to teach himself a new Skill, Programming. If he likes it, he might consider doing that as a Freelancer.
