Decided to give this Scenario a go as a way to ease myself back into Sims. It’s been a while, old friend! Haven’t decided whether to complete it quickly or go wherever the game takes me but I tend to take my time (A/N: not too much hopefully).

Players start with a pre-made Sim, Farrah Nouvel. She’s Active, an Art Lover, Gregarious and Outgoing who wants to be Friend of the World.

Farrah is a Freelance Artist (A/N: laptop and digital tablet in her inventory, yay!) who likes blue, pink and purple. She enjoys Fitness and Painting as well as listening to either Blues or Pop music.

The required tasks are easy ones and I’m sure more will be added over time.

Farrah Nouvel decided to give apartment living a try.

It’s a 2-bedroom, 1-bath that needs TLC. The deposit is §600 and rent is §300.

(A/N: did some “light renovation” before beginning to play in earnest. Re-colored furniture, decor, walls … added a few things … sold some stuff but held off on spending like crazy because I wanted to add personality over time.)

Farrah hopes she can clean/remove the body outline or she’ll have to hunt down the story and possibly turn it into a conversation piece.

squeak squeak … guess she’ll need to buy some rodent repellent or mice traps.

He sounds nice. Maybe they could become good friends (A/N: or possibly more than friends should they click, hee hee hee).

Accepting this quest, Farrah earned §400.

She cut her finger chopping lettuce for the salad but it didn’t bleed, thank goodness.

(A/N: the finished Garden Salad counted as “craft an object”.)

(A/N: I’m a little confused, to be honest. The “start” for this quest popped up a total of 5 times, giving §400 each time I clicked okay; an additional task was added: Sell an Item, but this quest chain completed WITHOUT Nova having sold anything. Completion garnered her an additional §2,000. Wahooey!! §4,000 in total for doing things I would normally have my Sim do. Also, the quest was still showing in the upper left of my screen so I went ahead and pressed the “End Quest” button since technically, she had done that.)

(A/N: it took me a few in-game hours to realize this Scenario began at NIGHT and not morning. I noticed it started on Thursday instead of Sunday but failed to notice the pm. LOL)

10:31 PM … time to look around and see who is out and about

What is Victor Feng carrying? A lump of clay? No. It’s food of some sort.

Siopao is a Filipino steamed bun. Yum!

(A/N: Akira Kibo is sitting on the bench. Should I have Farrah go say hi? He did call and indicate they’d meet soon.)

More required tasks were added to the Scenario.

Farrah takes the initiative to start mingling.

Akira tells a funny story about a T-Rex, a bed and and pair of boxers … definitely not something to share with little ones, ha ha.

It gives Farrah an idea for a painting though.

From their conversation, Farrah learns that Akira works at Rainy Day Entertainment as a Live Support Agent. He’s single, Jealous and dislikes Hip Hop music. (A/N: he might be a challenge to romance but would definitely keep her on her toes should she pick him as her potential partner.)

It’s getting late so Farrah reluctantly says goodbye, appreciating the friendly hug and the hint of there possibly being something more between the two of them.

Before calling it a night, she jumps on the Social Bunny app and adds Akira as a contact. A few fun messages has her smiling while she brushes her teeth.

His funny story must have influenced Farrah because this particular dream bubble popped up 3-4 times.
