Here’s a short but FUN holiday themed challenge called The 7-Day Winterfest Elf Solo Challenge. Your Sim Elf is tasked with doing various holiday elf tasks to prepare for the upcoming holiday, Winterfest Day.
And like usual with me, a story developed while testing this Challenge. Story Time with Sparkle the Elf made me giggle with glee as I played, took screenshots and cobbled this together. Hopefully, you’ll enjoy it as well.

Addy’s adventures take her to a festival in Mt. Komorebi and the Flea Market in San Myshuno. Her attempts to increase collections via vending machines and trading will hopefully bring a smile to your face and a chuckle, like it did with me.

Addy returns for more adventuring fun! This time she travels to Ravenwood for the 1st time and then again and again because as many of you already know, catching the well-hidden Death Frog is truly a test of perseverance and patience!! She’s also given a quest, which is rather interesting.

My goodness! It really has been some time since I had the energy or inclination to work on SimLit. The BIG C is no joke, folks. Not going to rehash it again as there is no need to. Those of you who have experienced cancer personally … be it yourself or a loved one know what I’m talking about.
Anyway, the last few in-game events have been fun and got me thinking about taking the various collections and doing something with them. I have also been sifting through game saves and deleting those I no longer play or gift builds already uploaded to the Gallery. 114 saves were deleted !! Still more to do. Whew. ** wipes brow/forehead dramatically**
Addy Sims is fun to play and has 8 collections of the 46 done as I haven’t purchased the newest pack yet. Her “adventures” won’t be a story with set publication dates but snippets here & there of interesting things. There will also be an ongoing Aspirations Tracker and Collection Tracker to show any progress made. No need to comment on the Tracker pages themselves but you’re more than welcome to leave comments or questions on Year 1, Spring and there is a handy dandy Table of Contents page titled Addy’s Adventures located in Stories (found on the menu tab at the top, under the site header) in case anybody wishes to peruse a page again.

In mid-December I felt ready to attempt playing Sims 4 again. Picking a beginner Scenario, I rediscovered the joy in the game while reminding myself of how to play. It’s funny how much I forgot and had to pause while doing a quick Google search but then the memory started kicking in and I felt less like a newbie.
To reduce the risk of unfinished business, I’ve decided to post once I have a completed story and all of the chapters are patiently waiting behind-the-scenes.
If you click on Stories (the middle item on the menu bar at the top of this page), there is a new line item called Scenarios which explains the method to my madness 😆 Essentially, I’ve decided to cobble Scenarios together to create my own “world”.
