Today is Exam Day for Lunch and the other teens. Good Luck!

The boys get their first Discovery Quest. It rewards Satisfaction Points upon completion and seems easy enough to do.

Lunch is proud of his brother’s scouting achievements, giving him a big hug after taking pictures of Music in uniform and the trophy for their photo wall.

Here are what the original images look like.

Lunch greets his good friend, Savannah, with a hug and wishes her good luck on the exams.

He befriends an Optimistic Sim (someone who has either the Cheerful or Good trait) and decides he likes that kind of person.

(A/N: I took a look at the traits of each of his friends to see who it is. It’s … Jeb Harris! You know, the guy who tends to walk around with a bag over his face.)
Wishing these 11 students success with their exams.

Not present: Jeb Harris, Greta Laurent, Sofia Bjergsen
Hopefully, the ones not on campus today are planning to do theirs via computer w/camera to prove they aren’t cheating or come in on the scheduled make-up exam day.
(A/N: Yes, I know the game doesn’t actually do this but it seems weird to me that the game is set up so not all Sims go through the graduation process (a GED type of HS diploma is fine, too) even though there has always been a school system in place and now the high school is no longer a rabbit hole building thanks to a pack.
I miss seeing the HS diploma in a Sim’s inventory along with class awards if they were voted “Most Likely to …” like we get in Sims 3.)
During his first exam, Lunch encounters a difficult problem and decides winging it would be a bad idea.
He might not have all the knowledge he needs but manages to do okay all the same.

Then the game decides that even though he is taking an EXAM (the action is still active in his queue), Lunch will leave the classroom … go downstairs … and jump on one of the computers to play a game. Nope! As soon as I was able to control him again, I cancelled the action and made him return to class for the exam. I have no idea if he finished it or not since he spent a chunk of time away from actually taking said exam.)
Lunch also needed to go to the toilet during his first exam but the game was more focused on computer hijinks than on something that actually mattered. Exam ends and the game automatically sent him off to the restroom. Okay, fine. The powers-that-be think it’s a great idea to send the poor guy to a pranked toilet. Thank goodness there are showers downstairs by the gym equipment.

The custodian, Tai Lum, gets right on cleaning and repairing the toilet as well as mopping the floor. I’m impressed. He’s better than the repair service Sims use when at home.
Lunchtime ends and it is time for the second exam.
sigh The game thinks it’s a good idea for Lunch to stop taking the exam for no apparent reason. He simply closes his exam booklet and sits at his desk. I immediately notice and have him start taking the exam again. He leaves his desk (back row) and moves to a seat at the front of the classroom before starting again. Not sure if he’ll finish this one in time either.
(A/N: The townie Sims controlled by the game have no such issues. Playing favorites, I see.)
Exams are done and it looks like he did pretty well. Yay!

And once again his grades sit on the cusp between ‘B’ and ‘C’. Apparently, exam day means no progress with grades. Booooooooo!!!!

This is a good spot for stopping this portion.
