For this Scenario, players need: 1 Teen, 1 Child and 1-6 Young Adult or older. I’ve decided to use the Box family.

We’re unable to start the Scenario with pets so I temporarily set them aside and added the four Sims to the ongoing game save. Currently leaning toward having the pets join when the parents do but we’ll see.

Had to remove the wording "thinking outside the box" before the Sims 4 Gallery allowed the family to be uploaded. Not sure why this phrase is disallowed but it is what it is. Thanks to illusie for figuring this out.

The Scenario “hook” …

Lunch Box needs to take care of his younger brother, Music Box, after their parents and the family wallet have been abducted by aliens. Luckily for the boys, the aliens left a note informing them that their parents will be returned once certain criteria are met. Is Lunch Box up to the challenge of raising Music Box as well as some funds for the aliens?

Time will tell.

The family moves into 2B Jasmine Suites. It’s one of two apartments located on the 2nd floor. (It’s also in the building next door to where Nova Curious and Kyle Kyleson live)

It’s a 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment and has Good Schools plus On Ley Line. I added Study Spot as the 3rd Lot Trait. The deposit is §1,000 and the weekly rent is §500. Their landlord is, you guessed it, Chihiro Fujiwara.

The required tasks for this Scenario are as follows:

• Have §15,000
• Raise Child’s grade to an A
• Raise Teen’s grade to an A
• Complete an aspiration with the Child Sim
• Group Cook together
• Have the Teen get a Part-Time Job
• Hire a Nanny

And away we go …

The boys eat sandwiches (Lunch likes ham and cheese; Music enjoys his pb&j) and do homework.

Music reminds his brother to spray for monsters under their bed since their parents aren’t here to do it.

(A/N: I find it weird that neither boy has a moodlet for missing their parents or a periodic thought bubble showing either one of them. It would also have been a nice touch for the alien spaceship to grab them and go. I created the note since there wasn’t a pop-up message for this. Details, schmetails)

The boys agree to sell the desk set and buy an activity table for Music. They can easily use the dining table for doing homework.

This is a good spot for stopping this portion.
