Season 1: Day 7

Previous Day: Friday

Even though some contestants had a late night (or relatively little sleep!), all agree to start the next challenge once everybody is awake.

Looking around to check on each contestant reveals that half are awake so it shouldn’t be long now. At this time, we discovered that the sink is broken again.

Kelsie passes Jermaine on her way to the showers. She wonders if the steady rain made him thirsty.

Kelsie isn’t the only one who notices the rain. Erick complains about it to Brittani before mopping up the puddle.

Brittani and Mikaela grab naps before the others wake so now they’re the ones others are waiting upon.

Jermaine shares insecurities and then complains about his love life (or lack thereof!) to Otis. Otis probably wishes his nose was buried in a book like Kelsie.

Greta doesn’t seem happy to have been kept waiting and takes it out on poor Quinton.

Fortunately, no one is within earshot so Quinton is able to maintain his dignity.

The contestants are all awake and ready to head to their next challenge at 12:57 PM.

The fifth challenge …

Goal: The sim who lasts the longest at the training bag will be awarded 10 points!

On your mark. Get set. Go!

They are still going strong at the one-hour mark.

Roughly eight minutes later …

ALL contestants stop at the same time. The moderator didn’t realize things are at a complete standstill at first and waits for them to continue.

They don’t and after a short while of standing around, the contestants begin to leave the challenge room.

Erick and Quinton try to be the “last sim standing” but Quinton eventually outlasts #TeamErick

The moderator informs the contestants that their simultaneous stop felt like a staged protest instead of each sim doing their best to win the challenge round. No one will receive 10 points. Mikaela, Brittani and Jermaine gained a skill increase and therefore will be awarded 5 points each for their efforts.

After that, the contestants are left to contemplate what the moderator said as they go about their daily business.

Erick appreciates having a clean space for doing sit-ups. He didn’t say he would be the one ensuring it was clean!

Whether flying solo or gathering together, the contestants enjoy a quiet evening at home.

Whether napping or not, these four begin counting sheep.

Brittani complains about the mess while Quinton silently wishes she would move so the mess would be no more. Hearing the ruckus “encourages” Erick to clean the fridge.

A little television before bed helps these two sims settle down.

At this point, all but three have gone to bed.

A quick look around shows what those 3 non-musketeers are doing.

Otis cleans up after others before showering and heading off to bed, calling out a cheery good night to the other two.

Erick and Quinton barely acknowledge Otis’ goodnight as they appear to be in another mini competition of their own … who can stay awake the longest?

“Get a load of this one, who would be dumb enough to vote that clown into office?”
(Not sure why all three chose to watch PolitiSim unless … they were using it as a sleep aid.)

Realizing that they’re evenly matched in this regard, the two nod in agreement and call it a night. Morning. Whatever.

For those curious about the sink situation …
Sink #1 is broken
Sink #2 (located next to Sink 1) is filthy

Day 7 Tally

Points Earned:
Erick 20
Mikaela 15
Greta 10
Brittani 5
Jermaine 5

Today’s challenge was a bust but hopefully the one they’re doing tomorrow won’t be!

    1. They get along most of the time. I was totally surprised when all quit at the same time & wondered if they were sore from the workout they did the day before. Many had the moodlet ‘sore muscles’ after they quit.

The following negative traits could cause interesting situations within the group:
      Mikaela is Unflirty
      Brittani is Hot-Headed
      Greta is Evil
      Jermaine is Jealous
      Otis is Mean

    1. I think Quinton is! These two were fun to watch and their expressions led me to think they were competing on a different level from the entire group.

I know!!! I figure they had sore muscles from the day before & that’s what caused the entire group to quit.

Thanks 🙂 Me too! I have to get playing again and see what they do next!!

  1. Man, tough break having an incomplete contest! I had to laugh when I read what your 3 non-Musketeers were doing. In my head, I was reading: “the drinker, the reader and the television watcher” to the rhyme of “the butcher, the baker and the candlestick maker.” 😛
