Week 1, Day 5
Thursday
TODAY is a “holiday”.
Pete doesn’t have to work today.
He collects another frog, this time a Striped Leaf Frog. Breeding it with the HypnoFrog returns yet another Striped Leaf Frog so Pete learns this is not a good pair to breed together if you’re wanting something new to come from it.
Eventually he hopes to earn enough to add on a room for displaying and perhaps selling frogs. He’ll start researching the permit process and guidelines to see what all is needed.
Pete visits Izumi the librarian and talks about how his business is going.
He offers to clean up the mess since she’s busy putting away books that get left everywhere. Some Sims are such slobs!
Pete meets Jayden Mobley, a stay-at-home mom who loves cats.
Over a game of chess, he becomes friends with Izumi. He learns that she is neat and loves to read. He wonders what her third trait might be.
Pete checks out the gym and is happy he can watch the season premiere while working out and … checking out the cute trainer next to him. Becca Clarke is her name.
The island gals are attractive but he feels like they are out of his league.
This one looks like she could kick his butt if he says or does the wrong thing!
Pete heads home to eat yet another salad.
Maybe he should consider fixing something else tomorrow.
10:30 pm: Sound asleep. Adulting is not all fun and games like he thought it would be.

When I was doing the challenge, I don’t think my sim got very many days off when rolled!

Poor Higgins! But we both know how greedy he is!! LOL
Pete has two days off during week one and one day off in week two. Will be interesting to see if the randomness continues along this pattern or not.

He has two and I’m holding off on collecting any more since the lot size isn’t large enough to put a pond on it.
You make do with what’s available so a holiday goes well, lol

Enjoying your story! Pete needed a day of! He is such a sweetie helping out Izumi by mopping the floor, even though he has to battle customers to have his own floor clean.. They make a really cute couple! As to those ladies that he feels are out of his league, I think he is to nice a guy and decent for them anyways, so it’s their loss.. I hope he gets someone that appreciates him.. He sure has a lot of energy..
