Spring
Week 2, Day 3
Tuesday
While Pete sleeps, so does Mayor Whiskers.
It is lightly raining but he still needs to repair the broken neon sign, scoop poop from the sidewalk and pick up any trash that is on the ground.
Rain might keep customers at home but Pete is happy to see those who came.
It would be nice if somebody made a purchase though!
You know the saying, “When it rains, it pours!”?
Pete says, “When a sale is in the works, more want their turn!”
Sick or aggressive toward Sims and each other, these strays tend to draw attention no matter what they are doing.
Pete did quite well today.

He pays bills before doing anything else.
Pete goes out to fill the bowls and is pleased to see healthy animals that also are happy.
No matter how much he feeds them, it never seems to be enough. He heads inside with several ideas running through his mind.
But Pete needs to take care of business chores and personal needs first.
I love the way they come to the store to just loaf around and chat, reminds me of the olden days, setting around the pop-belly stove and watching the day pass by! Oh, Idea’s running through his mind, wondering what he is thinking now for sure!

It does me too! Maybe somebody could make an old-timey type store.
Pete thinks many things! LOL

The bills are so cheap! Lucky Pete.
Looks like another good day for him.

I used the Off-the-Grid lot trait in the hopes of cutting down on bills. It was!

So sweet to see kitty sleeping on his back.. It’s hard to keep Sims from chatting, reminds me of happier times.. if I use the off the grid trait for my lot that will lower my bills.. I didn’t know that, normally the bills are super high for all my Sims.. It’s good that the strays look healthy, they also have a healthy appetitive..

Thank YOU for reading & commenting! ❤
It was sweet and reminds me of my own kitty! Sims certainly enjoy socializing with each other. From my experience, off-the-grid helps lowers bills as does tiny living. There is also a reward trait called frugal. You probably already know this, but expensive things in your inventory (frogs, paintings) also seems to contribute toward higher bills as far as I can tell. Strays have a VERY healthy appetite!!
