Winter
Day 31: Tuesday

Aimee wakes early and does her extra credit work before heading outside to play.

Marc washes dishes before fixing breakfast. He’s bold with spices, especially salt & pepper!

On his way to work, Marc sees Aicha holding a present.
“No peeking!”, he says with a laugh.

“I’m not. I’m leaving something fun for another to discover!”, Aicha replies.
(A/N: Aicha left a prank gift, of course.)

The holiday artwork by the girls looks great behind the tree and pile of presents.

Mike drops by when Aicha is the only one home. As soon as she finishes checking the garden, she heads around to the front and visits with him for a few minutes.

Marc’s boss offers extra training and he takes advantage of this rare opportunity.

The girls arrive home from school.

Ainsley talks to her sister and makes sure she’s not mad about her A grade while Aimee still has a B grade.

Aimee isn’t mad. She’s a bit disappointed since she spent time doing extra credit work and it didn’t give her the needed boost.

Aimee heads over to mom and asks what she thinks about eating dirt since kids at school were talking about it. Aicha tells her that if she does, kids will tease her.

GASP!

Aicha plays dolls with Aimee while Ainsley watches a movie.

If Marc was home, he’d tell Ainsley she might not be ready for something like Moonlight Massacre III.

A few hours later…
Marc arrives home and makes a beeline for the shower. Then he’s ready to be with his family.

Aicha tells him a story and Ainsley rushes over to greet her dad.

Aimee also greets her dad as soon as she wakes from her nap.
(A/N: This is the first time I’ve seen kids do this and thought it was cute … so cute I forgot to take a picture of Aimee doing it too, lol)

The rest of their day passes like usual.

Finances:
Marc & Aicha bought a tree and other holiday decor because TOMORROW is Winterfest! Marc made Scrambled Eggs with Bacon because I forgot we have a vegetarian in the house. Oops! Sorry, Ainsley.
